Dec 06, 2013 2. I am using 'NTSCM' video format and the 'DVD' record format settings. The 'DVD' setting seems to be the highest bitrate setting (36Mb for 30 sec), other than the 'AVI' setting which took up 1Gb for 30 seconds. If I am trying to make a good archival copy of the VHS tape do you agree with using the 'DVD' setting? I am using EZ Grabber to interface with my PC and Power Director as. 4 for a smaller file format to save to computer, but be careful as some.

I recently installed a package for transferring my vhs video to digital format.
The package is called Ez grabberand comes with a piece of hardware that allows me to capture a VHS analogue tape to Digital format. When I boot my HP Pavilion Slimline and open the software it launces but does not recognise the hardware. However, if I delete the driver from Sound, video and game controllers using Device manager, remove the USB cable from the grabber hardware and reboot. If I then insert the usb the machine re-loads the driver and the software works. Does anyone know why this happens and how I can ensure that the software works with hardware every time I boot up rather than going through the difficulty of uninstalling and re-installing the drivers?.
